We take each of the 4 important factors when grading a card.

Each of these categories receives a score of 0-10. We average the 4 scores together to give the card a final grade. Our final grades are:

Just like our Sports Cards, your trading cards will all be graded on our four-component grading scale: centering, surface, corners, and edges.

How do I send in my cards for grading?

From there you can create an account by registering here.

Once an account is created, you can create your order, listing each card you will ship. Once you create your order, you will ship the cards to us (packaged like our video does show) and we take care of the rest!

Once we receive your cards in the mail, we will ship them back within 15 business days to you! Our custom ordering process will let you track the progress of the order, view each card being graded via video and track it being shipped back to you.

How much is shipping and insurance?

Shipping is always FREE when grading with SNC. We take pride in packaging your cards and treat them as if they were a part of our own collection.

We ship with UPS and offer additional insurance. Depending on your order size/cards included in the package, you can choose insurance at the time of purchase.

Up to $300 – Cost $3.00
Up to $500 – Cost $5.00
Up to $1000 – Cost $10.00
Up to $2500 – Cost $25.00
Up to $5000 – Cost $50.00
Up to $10,000 – Cost $100.00
Up to $25,000 – Cost $250.00

What types of cards do you grade?

We grade all sports and non-sports trading cards from 1887 to the present. Currently, we are only grading “typical” sized cards and smaller. We can grade cards that range in the 20-point to 180-point card thickness.

At this time we are unable to grade booklets and oversized cards.

What is the turnaround time for grading?

We hold ourselves to a 15-business-day turnaround time. Once we receive your order, we guarantee that it will ship back to you within 15 business days. We strive for less and in many cases, your order will arrive sooner than this. We will never be longer than 15 days unless noted on our website. Currently, we do not have any express option, as our 15-day turnaround is one of the best in the industry.
We offer order tracking in your My Account Tab, where you can see once the grades populate for your card, as well as a video showing the grading process!

What is the cost for grading and what is included?

We charge the same price for each card, no matter what its value is! Shipping is ALWAYS free with us!

The prices for submitting cards for grading are:

1 – 10 Cards Submitted = $16.00 per card
11 – 99 Cards Submitted = $14.00 per card
100+ Cards Submitted = $12.00 per card

For this price, each of your cards will be thoroughly inspected, graded, and placed in a sealed protective case. We ship the cards back to you in a well-packaged and protected package. The only additional cost is additional insurance. We always include up to $100 worth of insurance coverage on any package, but give you the option to purchase additional insurance through UPS at the time of placing the order.

How can I watch my card get graded?

As your card is graded, it will get a custom webpage created for it! This page it will feature:

Video of your card being graded by SNC
Grades of your card for each of the 4 major categories
A final grade of your card

Do you authenticate autographs?

Yes, we do! Currently, we are authenticating in-person (IP) or through the mail (TTM) autographs on sports cards only. If a card is submitted like this, it will not be graded. The card will be put into a sealed slab and be marked as “A” for Authentic.

However, if the card is issued with an autograph guaranteed by the company (For example, a card issued by Panini and guaranteed by them) we will grade the card!

Currently, we are only authenticating autographs on sports cards, not items. The cost for an autograph to be authenticated is the same as grading a card.
